Message
The LBA Board, always working
for its members, has some major improvements in progress to keep OUR club
in top condition.
Diffusers for the air vents
are underway to help with the room temperature, but do bring a sweater if you
are too cold when 73 degrees feels like 63 degrees because of outside weather
conditions.
Please
chit-chat after boards have been played, not before or during. Everyone likes to
move when the round is called. Any
additional suggestions to keep the game moving are welcomed. Please use the
suggestion box for any ideas you have to help our players enjoy our club and
games.
MESSY, MESSY, for goodness
sake and good manners sake, PUT ALL YOUR DISCARDS IN THE WASTE
BASKETS. There are many waste baskets all around the playing area and in
the kitchen, USE THEM. Any volunteers for a police committee?

OF THE MONTH
His pleasant
attitude, and devotion to the LBA has endeared him to all of
us. He has served on the Board of Directors many times. He
was President for four terms, and Vice President twice, He served on many
committees, and co-chaired many tournaments. He even continues to volunteer
for many needed projects when not on the
